Tajikistan and the UN Expand Cooperation

DUSHANBE, 05.06.2024 (NIAT Khovar) – Expanding cooperation between Tajikistan and the UN was discussed on June 4 by the Minister of Economic Development and Trade Zavki Zavkizoda and the UN Resident Coordinator in Tajikistan Parvathy Ramaswami.
The parties discussed issues of attracting grant funds for new priority projects based on the country’s development goals, prospects for medium-term cooperation and preparatory work for holding the next meeting of the National Development Council under the President of Tajikistan.
It was also expressed readiness to contribute to the implementation of the country’s development goals and priorities, as well as the holding of the next meeting of the National Development Council.
