DUSHANBE, 09.07.2024 (NIAT Khovar) – On September 9, the President of the Republic of Tajikistan, Leader of the Nation, Honorable Emomali Rahmon, as part of his working visit to Sughd Province, in the Temurmalik neighborhood of the city of Khujand, launched the operation of a new factory for the production of chicken meat and sausage «Sayhun» LLC, and viewed the working conditions and opportunities of the factory.

The factory for the production of chicken meat and sausage in the city of Khujand was built by the head of the «Sayhun» company, a patriotic businessman Salimjon Juraev, to welcome the national holiday — the 33rd anniversary of the State Independence of the Republic of Tajikistan.

The works for the construction of the chicken meat and sausage production factory in the city of Khujand began on August 1, 2023, and were completed with the involvement of more than 20 local specialists and the use of high-quality domestic products on the total area of ​​1 ha of land.

«Sayhun» company owns a poultry farm in Bobojon Ghafurov district, where it operates 5 workshops, each of which is designed to cultivate 15 thousand chickens.

During the presentation of the capabilities of this factory, the Leader of the Nation Emomali Rahmon was informed that the capacity of the factory can process up to 420 tons of chicken meat per year. In order to promote quality work in the workshop, 50 local residents have been hired by the project, and the monthly salary for each person is 1800 somoni.

The company has installed modern industrial equipment for raising chickens in workshops.

According to information, 1.5 mln. somoni for the construction of the factory for the production of chicken meat and sausage in the city of Khujand and 286 thousand 259 somoni were spent on the purchase of equipment from the developed countries of the world.

On the premises of the newly built factory, the variety of products produced by the company «Sayhun» and other factories of the region, including «Murghi alosifat» of the city of Guliston, «Chujai Baizo», «Amina K», poultry factory «Nazar N» of Bobojon Ghafurov district and «Zarnisor N» of Zafarobod district was shown and the packed products of the factories were presented.

According to information, there are more than 60 poultry breeding factories in Sughd Province. Statistics show that 4020 tons of poultry meat were produced by these companies in the last 8 months.

According to the information of SUE «Sanoati parandaparvarii Tojikiston», currently 145 poultry breeding enterprises are operating in the region, which is by 15 more than last year. Out of this number, 98 enterprises are involved in egg production, 47 enterprises are involved in poultry meat production, 5 enterprises are engaged in production of eggs and poultry meat, and 2 enterprises are engaged in production of hatching eggs, day-old chicks and production eggs.

It is worth mentioning that domestic entrepreneurs are motivated by the support and opportunities provided by the state for the development of business in the country, and by building facilities of various purposes, they make a valuable contribution to the prosperity and progress of the dear Motherland — independent Tajikistan.
