DUSHANBE, 12.07.2024 (NIAT Khovar) – On September 12, the President of the Republic of Tajikistan, Leader of the Nation, Emomali Rahmon, commissioned the drinking water line in the town of Vahdat, center of Lakhsh district.

Drinking water is self-flowing and is transported through a pipe with a diameter of 160 millimeters from a distance of 18 kilometers to two reservoirs, each of which has a capacity of 250 cubic meters.

It was reported that the drinking water line project was implemented in cooperation with development partners.

Construction work on this facility began in March 2023, and more than 40 local specialists with specialized equipment were involved for its timely completion.

It should be noted that earlier residents of the center of Lakhsh district suffered from lack of drinking water, and now in the light of the prosperous policy of the Leader of the Nation Emomali Rahmon and the implementation of this project, this problem of the people has been eliminated.

As part of the implementation of the project of providing the population with drinking water, drinking water was provided along the streets, inside residential buildings, facilities in the field of education, healthcare, sports and services in the territory of Lakhsh district.

Honorable Leader of the Nation, Emomali Rahmon, tasked the officials of the sector to constantly take immediate measures to improve the level of water supply to the population and, in this regard, to carry out explanatory work related to the efficient use of water among the residents.

The implementation of a number of investment projects for the supply of drinking water in the cities and districts of the country is a testimony to the fact that every year the problem of providing the population with drinking water is being solved.

Providing the residents of the center of Vahdat town of Lakhsh district with ecologically clean drinking water is the result of the State Independence of the Republic of Tajikistan and the implementation of the instructions and orders of the top leadership of the country’s Government.
