DUSHANBE, 01.09.2024 /NIAT Khovar/. On September 1, the President of the Republic of Tajikistan, Leader of the Nation, Honorable Emomali Rahmon, and the Chairman of the Majlisi milli Majlisi Oli of the Republic of Tajikistan, Mayor of the city of Dushanbe, Honorable Rustam Emomali, commissioned in Sino district of the capital the general secondary education institution No. 19, and participated in the Day of Knowledge and the ceremonial beginning of a new academic year 2024-2025.

Honorable Head of State Emomali Rahmon opened this beautiful modern facility and called it a valuable gift of the Government of the Republic of Tajikistan for the representatives of education sphere and the happy generation of the country on the day of the beginning of the new academic year.

During the introduction to the conditions of education in this new school, it was mentioned that the school consists of 4 floors and a basement and is intended for 3500 students in two shifts.

The facility was built within a year as a sign of support for the development policy of the Government of the Republic of Tajikistan by the head of «Sarmanzil» LLC, patriotic businessman Mahmud Murodov.

The new school consists of 75 classrooms and other auxiliary facilities.

It is worth noting that every year on the eve of the new academic year, with the support of the educational policy of the Leader of the Nation, in all cities and districts of the country, new educational institutions with modern conditions that meet the requirements are built and put to use in Dushanbe, so that the current and future generations become knowledgeable and educated, and contribute to the development of independent Tajikistan.

The total area of ​​the land of the educational institution is more than 13 thousand square meters, in addition to the main building and auxiliary facilities, a small football field has also been built, and in the future, teachers and students can effectively use such favorable conditions.

In order to adapt the institution to the requirements of international standards, a meeting hall with 380 seats, a library, a spacious sports hall and a canteen with 348 seats were built here.

Here, the Head of State got acquainted with the process of work of the electronic program «eDonish», which has been implemented in educational institutions of Dushanbe for 5 years.

The «eDonish» program was designed and implemented on the initiative of the Dushanbe Executive body of state power as part of the «Concept of Transition to Digital Education in the Republic» from 2020, and today 150 educational institutions in the capital are using this best practice.

After getting acquainted with the conditions of education in the newly built institution, the Leader of the Nation, Emomali Rahmon, praised the quality of the construction works and expressed his gratitude to the native businessman for such a worthy initiative and a valuable gift for the students of the capital.

The institution was built with a modern design and high quality; it meets architectural and construction requirements, and all classrooms are equipped with desks and chairs and visual accessories.

The Head of State, during an introduction to the education process and a sincere conversation with teachers and students, emphasized that in the conditions of the rapid progress of science and technology, the happy generation of the era of independence should be knowledgeable and literate and make their valuable contribution to the development of the dear Motherland.

Vocational training classrooms, which are equipped with all the necessary conditions, operate in the basement of the building to provide students with the training of various professions. This measure allows students to learn different professions at the same time as they study subjects.

The reading hall has favorable conditions for reading, here 100 people can read the works of modern and classical writers and newly published books at the same time.

As part of the improvement works, the building is fully connected to the heating system, and at the same time, surveillance cameras have been installed in all reading halls and classrooms, through which the educational process is constantly monitored.

The area around the school, which is 5 thousand 700 square meters, has been covered and paved, and by planting 200 ornamental and shady tree saplings, lighting and greening, the courtyard of the building has been turned into a beautiful and attractive place.

It is worth noting that with the direct support of the Leader of the Nation, the support of the Dushanbe Executive body of state power and the solidarity of domestic entrepreneurs with the constructive and educational policy of the Government of the Republic of Tajikistan, on the eve of the Day of Knowledge, 6 modern educational facilities with more than 12 thousand seats were commissioned in the capital of the country alone.

The President of the Republic of Tajikistan, Leader of the Nation, Honorable Emomali Rahmon, as a good tradition, held a cordial meeting with the employees of the education sector on the Day of Knowledge.

Honorable Leader of the Nation, Emomali Rahmon, expressed that in the era of state independence, celebrating the Day of Knowledge and Peace Lesson at all levels of the country’s education system at the beginning of the school year has become one of the good national traditions in Tajikistan.

It was emphasized that on the first of September every year, hundreds of thousands of happy children of the time, in the atmosphere of complete independence, freedom, peace and stability, and with many hopes and dreams, step on the threshold of educational institutions for the first time and start learning literacy, ethics, science and knowledge.

Today’s meeting was held in honor of the new academic year and the Day of Knowledge in the newly built building of general secondary education institution No. 19 of Dushanbe city, which is one of the largest educational institutions in the capital of the country and has the best conditions for science and learning.

Honorable President of the country Emomali Rahmon expressed his gratitude to the leadership of the executive authorities of the city of Dushanbe, domestic businessmen, architects, engineers and builders, who built this high-quality house of science and knowledge, for their patriotic initiative and honest work.

Honorable Head of State Emomali Rahmon expressed his opinion on the efforts of the Government of the country in relation to the development of the education sector and the support of entrepreneurs from the constructive policy in this direction.

It was noted that in the last few days, five educational institutions, which were built within the framework of the state’s innovative policy, started operating in the city of Dushanbe, which is a significant contribution to the development of the education sector.

Honorable Head of State Emomali Rahmon emphasized that during the years 2017-2023, modern schools with the best conditions and opportunities were built and put into use in the city of Dushanbe for 72,000 students.

The President of the country stated that according to the decisions of the executive authorities of the city of Dushanbe, only this year they built modern educational institutions for more than 12 thousand children of the capital’s residents that will improve the educational conditions in the capital. In addition, the construction of 24 new educational institutions for 47 thousand students and 55 preschool institutions for 11 thousand 500 children is currently underway in Dushanbe.

According to the Leader of the Nation, Emomali Rahmon, all these developments and care for the younger generations are the result of the independence and freedom of the state, the peace and tranquility of the country and the constructive will of the residents of the capital.

Honorable Head of State Emomali Rahmon pointed to the increase in the population and the need to build many additional educational institutions. In 1991-1992, there were 800 schools and more than 1 million students. To strengthen this opinion, he also compared that this year 103 thousand children graduated from the 11th grade and 250 thousand children were admitted to the first grade. By bringing these statistics, President stated that it is necessary to build 380 new schools every year.

Honorable President of the country Emomali Rahmon paid special attention to the issue of the exclusion of a certain number of teenagers and young people, especially young women, from education in science, knowledge, and professions, and emphasized that if they do not voluntarily continue their education at the level of general secondary education, they should definitely continue their education in primary or secondary vocational education institutions, namely vocational technical lyceums and colleges, and become holders of various vocations.

Speaking on the importance of starting the school year with the Lesson of Peace, the Honorable Head of State Emomali Rahmon emphasized that the realization of the good intentions of every person and constructive plans and programs of the state and society is possible only in conditions of peace and tranquility, political stability and national unity.

Therefore, the Honorable Leader of the Nation, Emomali Rahmon, considered it necessary for every citizen of the country to protect the peace and tranquility, political stability and national unity achieved at the cost of the lives of tens of thousands of our compatriots, and to always strive to protect the independence and freedom of the state and our beloved homeland in the unstable conditions of the world.
