DUSHANBE, 09.07.2024 (NIAT Khovar) – On September 9, the President of the Republic of Tajikistan, Leader of the Nation, Honorable Emomali Rahmon, after commissioning a number of facilities in the cities and districts of Sughd Province, which were built with the aim of increasing the level of well-being of residents, opened the «Amid» trade and service center in the Pakhtakor neighborhood of Khujand city.

The facility was built as part of the development works to celebrate the 33rd anniversary of the Republic of Tajikistan’s independence by the domestic businessman — the head of the domestic company «Amid» Saidamon Isomaddinov.

During the acquaintance with the conditions and level of service in the newly built facility, the Honorable Head of State Emomali Rahmon was informed that the opening of the new trade and service center «Amid» provided the basis for the creation of 40 new jobs. Out of the total number of employed residents, 30 are women.

The design of the facility is modern, it has a center for selling various products, including food, household accessories, national food cooking workshop, national and European bakery, dairy products, salads, a cafe, a confectionery outlet and a pharmacy.

The foundation of the new facility will allow to improve the level of service to residents and visitors of Khujand. In the near future, the entrepreneur plans to start work in two shifts and employ 20 more people.

The goods and products sold in the «Amid» trade and service center are mostly of domestic production, of high quality and environmentally friendly.

The foundation of special warehouses ensures the correct and favourable storage of products, and provides the opportunity for residents to have access to clean and high-quality products at any time.

Honorable Leader of the Nation, Emomali Rahmon, after familiarizing himself with the activities and opportunities of the «Amid» trade and service center, commended the businessman’s actions in the direction of creating new jobs, expansion of improvement works and development of the industry.

We remind that this is the 8th trade and service center of «Amid» in the city of Khujand. In total, 8 trade and service centers of «Amid» provide employment to nearly 300 people, of which 150 are women.
