Leader of the Nation Emomali Rahmon attended ceremony to commission the building of Roshtqal’a rural community

DUSHANBE, 12.10.2024 /NIAT Khovar/. On October 12, the President of the Republic of Tajikistan, Leader of the Nation, Emomali Rahmon, met with leaders, activists and residents of Rushon district.
First of all, the Leader of the Nation Emomali Rahmon expressed his gratitude to all the proud people of Rushon district for the warm and sincere welcome.
The President of the country analyzed the development and progress of the district during the period of independence and stated that thanks to the independence of the state, the district of Rushon is constantly becoming prosperous and beautiful.
It was emphasized that the construction and renovation of 165 facilities were planned in Rushon district for the worthy celebration of the 35th anniversary of the State Independence. To date, 111 facilities have been built, 50 km. of local roads have been renovated.
In this work, the Head of State especially emphasized the contribution of businessmen and generous people of the district and expressed his sincere gratitude to all of them.
It was said that more than 1.1 billion somoni were allocated by the Government of the country to ensure social and economic development of the district during the 33 years of the country’s independence. At the same time, the implementation of the social and economic development program of Rushon district for 2021-2025 is underway, in which 60 projects are planned for a total amount of 103 million somoni.
Given the opportunities of the industry in the district, the Head of State tasked the leadership of the region, district and other officials of the republic to take additional measures for the effective use of available resources in the direction of the development of this important sector.
During the speech, the President of the country, Emomali Rahmon, also analyzed important economic and social areas of the district, including agriculture, transport, energy, education and health. The Head of state drew the attention of the officials of the region and its districts to correcting the shortcomings in these areas.
