Minister of Industry and New Technologies of Tajikistan attends the International Forum and Exhibition «China Mining 2024»

DUSHANBE, 16.10.2024 /NIAT Khovar/. On October 15-18, at the invitation of the Minister of natural resources of the People’s Republic of China, Wang Guanghua, the official delegation of the Republic of Tajikistan headed by the Minister of Industry and New Technologies of the Republic of Tajikistan Sherali Kabir arrived in Tianjin and took part in the international conferences and the exhibition «China Mining 2024».
The head of the delegation of Tajikistan — Minister of Industry and New Technologies Sh. Kabir spoke at the opening of the 26th International Forum and Exhibition «China Mining 2024». In his speech, the level of bilateral cooperation with the People’s Republic of China in the field of mining and metallurgy was noted. The Minister noted: «We believe that expanding our partnership in the field of industry and new technologies is of strategic importance for our countries. We are convinced that joint efforts and innovative approaches help us reach new heights in the development of our economy and the unfailing prosperity of our peoples.» At the end of his speech, the Minister invited other industry ministers from China, Turkey, South Africa, Zimbabwe and other foreign participants to participate in the first investment mining and metallurgy forum and exhibition of Tajikistan, which will be held on October 29-30 in Dushanbe.
On the sidelines of the conference, separate meetings of the country’s delegation with the heads of industry ministries of China, Turkey, South Africa, and large investment companies that are among the top 500 large companies in the world are planned.
The conference provides opportunities for exchanging experiences, international contacts and discussing achievements in the mining industry.
Also, within the framework of the Forum, on October 15, 2024, the following Memorandums of Understanding were signed between Tajik and Chinese companies:
1. «Khuroson Holding Co. LLC» and «Junxi Plastic CO., LTD» on the construction of a plant for the production of aluminum profiles in Tajikistan;
2. «Guangzhou Akoma Import and Export Co., LTD» and «Akoma LLC» on the export of sausage products produced by the Tajik company «Acoma» to China;
3. «Jiangsu Pengfei Group Co., LTD» and «Khuroson Holding Co LLC» on the construction of a plant for the production of clinker and cement in Tajikistan. «China Mining 2024» is an annual international conference and exhibition that has been held since its establishment in 1999. The event has become one of the largest and most influential platforms for discussing mining industry issues. In 2024, the event will be held under the theme of «Promoting Mining Cooperation for a Better Future».
