DUSHANBE, 12.10.2024 /NIAT Khovar/. On October 12, the President of the Republic of Tajikistan, Leader of the Nation, Emomali Rahmon, in continuation of his working trip, visited the greenhouse of «Sabzavoti Kuhiston» LLC in Rushon district.
«Sabzavoti Kuhiston» LLC was created by businessman Hamdam Davlatmamadov based on the instructions of the Honorable Head of State Emomali Rahmon in order to create new jobs and supply consumer markets with fresh products.
During the meeting, Honorable Emomali Rahmon was informed that the greenhouse was built on the area of 1.5 hectares of land, and many types of vegetables, including tomatoes, bell peppers, cucumbers, eggplants, greens, cauliflowers, and turnips, are grown there.
With the establishment and start of operation of «Sabzavoti Kuhiston» LLC, 8 local residents with extensive experience in agriculture have been provided with permanent jobs and 24 people with seasonal jobs.
Officials plan to produce 65 to 120 tons of products annually and contribute to providing the consumer market of the region with the correct use of agro-techniques for growing crops and re-planting.
Honorable Leader of the Nation, Emomali Rahmon called the entrepreneur’s actions as an example and emphasized that the expansion of greenhouses in mountainous conditions can be a solid step towards achieving food security and the population’s access to fresh vegetables in all seasons of the year.
After getting acquainted with the condition of growing vegetables and the capacity of the greenhouse, the Honorable Head of State Emomali Rahmon visited the exhibition of agricultural products.
Here, the Honorable Leader of the Nation, Emomali Rahmon, presented a number of machinery and equipment for the state support of the district’s farms, and gave specific instructions and assignments to the officials to bring the abandoned lands into the agricultural cycle, to use the land rationally, to grow two to three crops, and to contribute to the implementation of the strategic goal of the country — ensuring food security.
