President Emomali Rahmon presents gifts to orphans and persons with disabilities in Rushon district

DUSHANBE, 12.10.2024 /NIAT Khovar/. On October 12, the President of the Republic of Tajikistan, Leader of the Nation, Emomali Rahmon, met and had a sincere conversation with 100 orphans and persons with disabilities of Vanj, Darvoz, Shughnon and Rushon districts in the «Safina» restaurant.
According to the information of the officials, almost 240 orphans, including 7 total orphans and nearly 100 persons with disabilities, are registered in Rushon district, all of whom are under the care of the Government of the Republic of Tajikistan.
Currently, a republican boarding school and a preschool boarding institution are operating in the district for their education.
The President of the Republic of Tajikistan during his meeting with orphans and persons with disabilities, considered their participation in national level contests important, and gave instructions and advice to the officials to ensure their active participation in all contests and to grow up in the spirit of patriotism.
Here, the Head of State presented clothes, sweets and other valuable gifts to orphans and persons with disabilities.
