Tajikistan — Saudi Arabia joint commission meeting in Dushanbe

DUSHANBE, 09.10.2024 /NIAT “Khovar”/. Within the framework of the agreement between the Government of the Republic of Tajikistan and the Government of the Kingdom of Saudi Arabia in the field of combating crime, the second meeting of the Joint Commission of the Ministries of Interior of the Republic of Tajikistan and the Kingdom of Saudi Arabia was held in Dushanbe on October 8 with the participation of the heads of the relevant departments of the internal affairs bodies of both sides. This is reported by the press center of the Ministry.
The event was held within the framework of mutually beneficial cooperation between the governments and meets the interests of the peoples of both states.
The sides exchanged views on countering terrorism, extremism, detention and extradition of wanted criminals, drug trafficking, human trafficking, study of ways and methods of preventing cybercrime.
The opinion was also expressed on exchange of information, experience, short-term courses and training of highly qualified specialists.
