DUSHANBE, 08.11.2024 /NIAT “Khovar”/. On November 8, the President of the Republic of Tajikistan, Leader of the Nation, Honorable Emomali Rahmon, visited «Turakhon Isanqulov» commercial cooperative in the framework of his working trip to Khatlon Province in Jaloliddin Balkhi district.
Honorable Head of State Emomali Rahmon started grain planting here.
In the autumn sowing, high-quality «asr» wheat seeds were sown on farm lands.
It was reported that «Turakhon Isanqulov» cooperative has 375 hectares of arable agricultural land. Of this, on the area of 97 hectares of land, cereals such as wheat, barley, rice and maize are cultivated for grain.
After the start of planting crops, the Leader of the Nation Emomali Rahmon got acquainted with agricultural goods collected from the lands of «Turakhon Isanqulov» commercial cooperative at the exhibition.
Farmers are mainly engaged in the cultivation of cotton, potatoes, carrots, onions and melons. The abundant harvest on the display shows the rich experience of the farmers.
President Emomali Rahmon gave instructions and guidance to farmers for effective use of each piece of cultivated land, abundant food production and supply of consumer markets with their own products.
