DUSHANBE, 18.11.2024 /NIAT “Khovar”/. On November 18, the President of the Republic of Tajikistan, Leader of the Nation, Honorable Emomali Rahmon, opened on the street of industrialists in the city of Buston a shoe factory under the «Zari Sughd» Subsidiary Enterprise of gold embroidery, jewelry and vocational training.
The company’s technology is imported from the People’s Republic of China, and it has the capacity to produce up to 5 thousand pairs of shoes per month.
This new industrial enterprise in the city of Buston employs 20 people, and now 50 types of shoes are manufactured here. The annual capacity of the enterprise is the production of up to 60 thousand pairs of men’s and children’s shoes of various sizes.
It is planned to launch the production of shoe soles and expand the production capacity in the future in the second stage of the enterprise.
Honorable Leader of the Nation Emomali Rahmon considered the introduction of modern technology and the establishment of a new industrial enterprise as part of the implementation of the fourth strategic goal «Rapid industrialization of the country» to increase the production of import substitution products, create new jobs, boost the production of industrial products and develop the national economy as important and timely.
Here, the President of the Republic of Tajikistan got acquainted with the products of the «Zari Sughd» Subsidiary Enterprise of gold embroidery, jewelry and vocational training.
Jewelry, tailoring, hand-woven carpets, and shoe production are the main activities of the «Zari Sughd » Subsidiary Enterprise. During the presentation of the company’s products, the Honorable Head of State Emomali Rahmon drew the attention of workers and specialists to competitive high-quality production.
Also, on the same day, the project of new facilities under construction was presented. Renovation of the zone of extraction of precious metals, the project of processing and decontamination of radioactive waste, the construction of a modern logistics center with 100 jobs, the establishment of a joint enterprise for the processing of scrap paper and the production of products from it, a factory for the production of polyethylene containers and pipes, and the construction of two high-rise residential and service buildings are among the future plans of the enterprise.
The Leader of the Nation, Honorable Emomali Rahmon, gave specific instructions to the relevant officials of the industry and specialists of the enterprise for the full use of existing opportunities, attracting capital, restoring idle capacities, expanding production opportunities based on the technology of producing competitive products, creating new jobs and increasing the production of import substitution products.
