President Emomali Rahmon inaugurated Faroghatbonu footwear manufacturing plant in Bobojon Ghafurov

DUSHANBE, 18.11.2024 /NIAT “Khovar”/. On November 18, the President of the Republic of Tajikistan, Leader of the Nation, Honorable Emomali Rahmon, as part of his working visit to Sughd Province, launched in Bobojon Ghafurov district the activity of «Faroghatbonu» LLC shoe factory.
This enterprise was built by the domestic businessman Parviz Juraev as part of the measures to welcome the 35th anniversary of the State Independence. It produces 20 types of men’s shoes.
The total area of the enterprise is 1200 square meters.
Honorable Head of State Emomali Rahmon, while visiting the working conditions and the production process at the factory, praised the quality of its products and called the operation of the shoe factory in Bobojon Ghafurov district an exemplary step.
The company’s products are sold in the markets of Sughd Province, Dushanbe and other cities and districts of the country.
The equipment of the workshop is of a new generation and is installed in 16 production lines. The technology of the workshop is energy-efficient and operates 50 percent automatically. The shoe factory produces 30,000 to 50,000 pairs of shoes per year, depending on demand. The annual demand of the residents of the district for shoes is 165 thousand pairs, and the entrepreneurs intend to expand the production capacity of the enterprise in the future.
It is worth noting that 20 people will be employed at the first stage of the enterprise’s operation, and if the enterprise is fully operational, more than 50 people will be provided with permanent jobs and high salaries. Each employee goes through short training courses and then is recruited.
Within the framework of the implementation of the instructions and orders of the Head of State, women and girls are also employed in this enterprise.
Raw materials for the production of products at this enterprise are supplied partly from within and partly from abroad. The product is first tested and then put on sale.
The Leader of the Nation, while visiting the exhibition of the factory’s products, instructed to continue to pay attention to the quality of production and to contribute to the supply of the domestic market by increasing its volume.
