Tajikistan, Saudi Arabia discusses establishment of joint cooperation to prevent the negative consequences of climate change

DUSHANBE, 21.11.2024 /NIAT “Khovar”/. On November 20, 2024, Deputy Minister of Foreign Affairs of the Republic of Tajikistan Farrukh Sharifzoda met with the Minister of State for Foreign Affairs, member of the Council of Ministers, Saudi Arabian Envoy for Climate Issues Adel Al-Jubeir.
During the meeting, the parties emphasized that the problem of water and climate is one of the most important issues on the international agenda as well as parties highly appreciated the international initiatives of the Republic of Tajikistan on the topic of water and climate and discussed the establishment of joint cooperation to prevent the negative consequences of climate change.
