Tashkent hosts a meeting of Central Asian nations Deputy Foreign Ministers

DUSHANBE, 27.11.2024 /NIAT “Khovar”/. On November 26, 2024 in Tashkent the First Deputy Minister of Foreign Affairs of the Republic of Tajikistan Ismatullo Nasredin participated and addressed the 14th meeting of Deputy Foreign Ministers of Central Asian countries.
During his speech, the First Deputy Minister called for strengthening regional cooperation in combating threats and challenges of modern time, including terrorism and extremism, drug trafficking, organized crime and problems related to climate change.
The First Deputy Minister Nasredin also acquainted the participants with the efforts and initiatives of the Government of the Republic of Tajikistan in the international arena, including within the framework of the «Dushanbe Counter-Terrorism Process» and other relevant international events.
On the sidelines of this event in the Ministry of Foreign Affairs of the Republic of Uzbekistan, there was also held a meeting between Deputy Ministers of the Central Asian countries and the Minister of Foreign Affairs of the host country Bakhtiyor Saidov.
