Dushanbe to Host International Navruz Festival Showcasing Tajik Culture and Tourism

The International Festival “Navruz – Cultural and Tourist Heritage” will be held March 22 at the Iram Park State Institution, Khovar reports, citing the Tourism Development Committee.
The festival, held for the eighth consecutive year, is organized under the “Schedule of Holidays and Anniversaries, Festivals and Exhibitions, Cultural and Educational Events, and Folk Crafts Competitions in Tajikistan for 2026” and the “Calendar of Events for the International Navruz Festival in Dushanbe for 2026,” with the support of the Dushanbe Executive Authority and the Tourism Development Committee.
The event aims to showcase Tajikistan’s tourism potential and national culture, featuring exhibitions of folk crafts, Navruz ceremonies, national sports, traditional dishes, demonstrations of national clothing, and presentations of tourism services.
Navruz is celebrated internationally and highlights the rich historical and cultural heritage of the Tajik people, making the festival a major tourist attraction.
