Tajik-Russian consultations on countering challenges and threats takes place in Dushanbe

DUSHANBE, 21.01.2025 /NIAT «Khovar»/. The next round of Tajik-Russian political consultations on cooperation in countering challenges and threats was held in Dushanbe on Monday.
According to the Tajik MFA Information Department, the delegations of the sides were headed by the Deputy Foreign Ministers of the Republic of Tajikistan Farrukh Sharifzoda and the Russian Federation Sergey Vershinin. The event was also attended by representatives of relevant ministries and agencies of the two countries.
During the consultations, an interested exchange of views took place on the issues of cooperation between the two countries in ensuring regional security and stability. Special attention was paid to the interaction between Dushanbe and Moscow on countering challenges and threats within the framework of the UN, CSTO, SCO, CIS and other multilateral organizations.
The consultations were held in the spirit of mutual understanding inherent in Tajik-Russian strategic partnership and alliance.
