On February 22, in the city of Dushanbe, the President of the Republic of Tajikistan, Leader of the Nation, Honorable Emomali Rahmon, and the Chairman of the Majlisi milli Majlisi Oli of the Republic of Tajikistan, Mayor of Dushanbe, Honorable Rustam Emomali participated in the military parade in honor of the 32nd anniversary of the establishment of the Armed Forces of Tajikistan.

The Minister of Defense of the Republic of Tajikistan, Lieutenant General Sobirzoda Emomali, reported to the President of the country, the Supreme Commander-in-Chief of the Armed Forces of Tajikistan, General of the Army Emomali Rahmon, on the readiness of the personnel of the Dushanbe military garrison troops for the passage of the military parade.

The President of the Republic of Tajikistan, Honorable Emomali Rahmon, having greeted the personnel, congratulated them on the magnificent celebration of the 32nd anniversary of the establishment of the Armed Forces.

Before the start of the military parade, the Head of State, Emomali Rahmon, delivered a speech and expressed his thoughts on preserving the achievements of the independent state and the peaceful and calm atmosphere of this heavenly country.

The Head of State, Honorable Emomali Rahmon, sincerely congratulated all the noble people of Tajikistan, the personnel of the National Army, other military structures, law enforcement officers, and participants in the military parade – officers and soldiers — on the 32nd anniversary of the establishment of the Armed Forces.

It was emphasized that over the past 32 years, the personnel of the Armed Forces have been ensuring the independence and freedom of the country, the protection of the borders and homeland of the ancestors, the security of the state and society, peace, tranquility, and political stability in a youthful and loyal way to the people and the Motherland.

The Head of State considered the defense of the Motherland and the peaceful life of the people a sacred and noble duty for every honorable young man.

It was noted that the Tajiks have been known since ancient times as a cultured and peace-loving nation, educated and civilized, and prosperous and constructive.

The Leader of the Nation, His Excellency Emomali Rahmon, called the feats of the brave and selfless sons of the Tajik nation – Muqanna, Spitamen, Devashtich, Temurmalik, Vose and thousands of others – an example for today’s generations.

In his speech, the Head of State, Honorable Emomali Rahmon, paid great attention to the need to establish the Armed Forces in the early days of statehood, to pass the difficult test of history and turn it into a powerful force.

It was said that the Armed Forces, other military structures and law enforcement agencies of Tajikistan faithfully fulfilled their patriotic duty in the extremely sensitive and fateful days of the first years of independence, especially during the imposed civil war, which actually posed the threat of the disintegration of the nation and the collapse of the Tajik state.

President Emomali Rahmon instructed the military personnel of the Armed Forces to fulfill their duties responsibly and remain faithful to their oath, emphasizing that “you are entrusted with the protection of the Motherland, the nation, and the state.”

In this regard, it was also said that the people of Tajikistan see in every military personnel and law enforcement officer reliable defenders of the independence and freedom of the Motherland, the borders and the ancestral homeland, the peace and stability of the country, and defenders of their rights and interests.

In connection with the extremely unstable military and political situation that has engulfed the modern world, the Leader of the Nation instructed the leadership and command staff of the Armed Forces, other military structures, and law enforcement agencies to pay more attention to the issues of constant readiness, providing units with modern military equipment and technology, creating even better living and service conditions for personnel, and to the issue of training personnel and their proper deployment.

After the speech of the President of the country, Supreme Commander-in-Chief of the Armed Forces of Tajikistan, General of the Army Emomali Rahmon, a military parade of military personnel was held in honor of the 32nd anniversary of the establishment of the Armed Forces.

The celebration of the sacred holiday ended with the passing of more than 10 thousand military personnel of the Armed Forces, power structures, personnel of law enforcement agencies, female officers of the National Army, and defenders of law and order in a solemn atmosphere.

The pride of the Tajik people is that the National Army of independent Tajikistan has become an organized and powerful structure, well-organized and equipped, and has become one of the important pillars of the new Tajik statehood.

With the attention and guidance of the Leader of the Nation, Emomali Rahmon, in the direction of training qualified military specialists, the leadership and command structures and the majority of the military personnel of the Armed Forces are currently composed of patriotic, qualified and determined personnel.

The courageous march of the officers and soldiers of the National Army once again proves that the country’s power structures and law enforcement agencies are ready to protect national interests and the pure and sacred soil of the ancestral land from any danger and threat with the honor and dignity of patriotism, self-respect and self-knowledge, loyalty, determination and strong will.

The Armed Forces of the country are capable of protecting the greatest blessing in the life of the Tajik people – State Independence and its historical achievements – peace and tranquility, political stability, national unity and the peaceful life of the people of Tajikistan as a reliable shield.
