Today, a meeting of the Security Council of the country was held under the chairmanship of the President of the Republic of Tajikistan, Leader of the Nation, Chairman of the Security Council of the Republic of Tajikistan, Honorable Emomali Rahmon.

The meeting was attended by permanent members and members of the Security Council, employees of the Security Council apparatus, heads of military structures and law enforcement agencies.

The meeting discussed the state of ensuring security and stability, the rule of law and legal order, the fight against crime and strengthening the state’s defense capabilities.

The President of the Republic of Tajikistan, Honorable Emomali Rahmon, gave specific instructions to those responsible for ensuring national security, the rule of law, the constant readiness of the country’s Armed Forces, the fight against crime and the prevention of any incidents.

It was emphasized that serious attention should be paid to improving the level of knowledge of specialists, mastering modern equipment, technology and the use of artificial intelligence.

Instructions and assignments were given on the prevention of terrorist and extremist crimes, illicit drug trafficking and smuggling, and transnational organized crime and the fight against them.

Relevant decisions were adopted on the issues discussed at the Security Council meeting.
