On April 10, the President of the Republic of Tajikistan, Leader of the Nation, Honorable Emomali Rahmon, and the Chairman of the Majlisi milli Majlisi Oli of the Republic of Tajikistan, Mayor of Dushanbe, Honorable Rustam Emomali, opened the new building of the Central Executive Committee of the People’s Democratic Party of Tajikistan.

The facility was built on the basis of the constructive initiatives of the Leader of the Nation, His Excellency Emomali Rahmon, and its design has added another beauty to the capital city.

The Head of State, His Excellency Emomali Rahmon, was informed that the new building of the Central Executive Committee of the People’s Democratic Party of Tajikistan has equipped rooms, a museum, assembly halls, an electronic and traditional library, a canteen and other auxiliary facilities, and it will create favorable conditions for the activities of the staff.

Separate corners created in the Museum of the People’s Democratic Party of Tajikistan contribute to the formation of each visitor’s knowledge of the historical path of the Tajiks. The history of our ancestors, Soviet Tajikistan, the fateful XVI Session of the Supreme Council of the Republic of Tajikistan, the establishment of the People’s Democratic Party of Tajikistan, the Rogun Hydroelectric Power Plant, the global initiatives of the Leader of the Nation, and other information and innovations of independent Tajikistan are among the sections in the museum.

Information on various periods of Tajik statehood, the activities of the party, and the achievements and victories of Tajikistan are preserved by collecting photographs, documents, and printed materials.

According to the Leader of the Nation, Emomali Rahmon, «today, in the conditions of globalization and the clash of civilizations, turning to history and national values has acquired great importance in order to preserve the good traditions and customs of our ancestors and protect political and cultural independence.»

“Therefore, in the context of the development of information technologies and taking into account the modern characteristics of the level of public understanding, it would be appropriate to preserve and promote the history of the formation and development of the People’s Democratic Party of Tajikistan through innovative means — the organization of the activities of a historical-innovative museum,” — the Leader of the Nation emphasized.

The formation of the minds and thinking of employees in the process of their work and their access to the most important information and innovations are among the issues that have been taken into account by establishing an electronic library connected to the Internet.

At the same time, those interested can use the large list of literature in the reading room of the traditional library.

To organize and hold various political meetings and events, the meeting room of the Central Executive Committee of the People’s Democratic Party of Tajikistan was built in a modern design and has 1240 seats.

Head of State Emomali Rahmon, urging the favorable use of the created conditions, gave instructions and recommendations to those responsible for implementing the main goals of the People’s Democratic Party of Tajikistan, including strengthening the foundations of a sovereign, democratic, law-based, secular, social and unitary state, as well as a stable economy aimed at improving society.
