Azerbaijani Delegation to Participate in High-Level Conference on Glacier Preservation

DUSHANBE, 17.05.2025 (NIAT Khovar) – On May 15, in Baku, the Ambassador of Tajikistan to Azerbaijan, Ilhom Abdurahmon, met with the Deputy Prime Minister of Azerbaijan, Samir Sharifov, who also serves as Co-Chair of the Intergovernmental Commission on Trade and Economic Cooperation between Tajikistan and Azerbaijan.
The parties discussed the implementation of agreements reached during the 7th session of the Intergovernmental Commission, with a focus on strengthening cooperation in trade, industry, agriculture, transport, and investment.
Sharifov confirmed that he will participate in the upcoming High-Level International Conference on Glacier Preservation, scheduled to be held in Dushanbe from May 29 through May 31, where he will lead the Azerbaijani delegation.
