The visit was organized by the Artificial Intelligence Council under the Ministry of Industry and New Technologies as part of the implementation of Tajikistan’s National AI Development Strategy.
During the meeting, the parties discussed the launch of a pilot computer vision project by Presight in Dushanbe under the country’s “Smart City” initiative, as well as plans to establish regional offices of both companies in the upcoming Area AI zone — the region’s first AI-regulated technology park.
Key topics also included the creation of a GPU cluster, the development of a national cloud data center powered by green energy, and collaboration with leading Tajik AI firms. Special attention was given to talent development, research partnerships, and the localization of AI solutions tailored to the country’s specific needs.
Minister Kabir reaffirmed Tajikistan’s commitment to prioritizing artificial intelligence as a driver of sustainable economic development, highlighting the government’s openness to long-term, strategic cooperation with global technology firms.
The meeting concluded with an agreement to prepare memorandums of understanding and to launch joint initiatives before the end of 2025.
