DUSHANBE, 27.06.2025 (NIAT Khovar) – On June 28, the President of the Republic of Tajikistan, Leader of the Nation, Honorable Emomali Rahmon, left for Dushanbe after completing his working tour to the cities and districts of the Badakhshan Mountainous Autonomous Province and meeting with activists of the region.

The farewell ceremony of the Leader of the Nation, Emomali Rahmon, at the airport of Khorugh city, like the moments of his welcome, was held with great pomp and grandeur and a high sense of gratitude from the people of Badakhshan. The residents of the region, with their loyalty and sincere love for the Head of State, saw off the distinguished guest in an atmosphere full of respect, joy and celebration.

The cultural community of the region, involving artists and residents, presented an interesting cultural program and performed songs praising the Motherland, the Leader of the Nation, and the love of the people with great emotion. The farewell moments truly became a scene of national sentiment and tribute to the wise and humane policy of the Leader.

The working visit of the Head of State, His Excellency Emomali Rahmon, which took place from June 25 to 28 in the districts of Darvoz, Vanj, Rushon, Roshtqal’a, Shugnon and the city of Khorugh, was held in honor of the celebration of the 28th anniversary of National Unity.

During this blessed visit, the Leader of the Nation commissioned a series of facilities for various purposes and laid the foundation stone for the construction of a number of new facilities, all of which are the fruits of the constructive policy and direct care of the Head of State for the proud people of Badakhshan.

One of the important goals of the visit of the Leader of the Nation was to meet face to face with the proud people of the region, listen to their concerns and suggestions, and design plans for the socio-economic development of GBAO. During these meetings, the Head of State congratulated the residents of the region on the 28th anniversary of the National Unity Day and instructed them to expand development work and prepare adequately for the grand celebration of the 35th anniversary of the State Independence of the Republic of Tajikistan.
