DUSHANBE, 20.06.2025 (NIAT Khovar) – On June 20, the President of the Republic of Tajikistan, Leader of the Nation, Honorable Emomali Rahmon, and the Chairman of the Majlisi milli Majlisi Oli of the Republic of Tajikistan, Honorable Rustam Emomali, inaugurated the “Durakhshon” Preschool Educational Institution on Mahmadali Kurbonov Street in the Ismoili Somoni district of the capital.

It was reported that the new kindergarten building, as part of the development plan dedicated to the 35th anniversary of state independence and constructive measures taken by the leadership of the Executive Body of State Power of Dushanbe, was built in 15 months in accordance with the requirements of architecture and urban planning and is designed for 300 children.

The «Durakhshon» Preschool Educational Institution was built by a domestic entrepreneur, Nematullo Haitov, with a modern design and a cost of 20 million somoni, with high quality, and more than 100 local residents were provided with jobs during its construction.

The newly built institution consists of 4 floors and a basement, and it has good conditions for the development of children’s minds, their engagement in various interesting games and the acquisition of modern knowledge.

All classrooms of the kindergarten are equipped with the necessary equipment, including tables and chairs, and all kinds of children’s toys, and education is carried out in 3 languages: Tajik, Russian and English.

The new kindergarten employs 24 caregivers and pedagogical workers and 21 administrative and technical employees, a total of 45 people.

According to the project, this institution has good conditions for 12 groups, including bedrooms, bathrooms, music, dance, choreography, art, a gym and a playground for children, and it was named a worthy gift from the Leader of the Nation, Emomali Rahmon, on the eve of National Unity Day for the children of the independence era.

During the visit, the Head of State, Honorable Emomali Rahmon, highly appreciated the quality of the work carried out and advised officials and teachers to properly educate children in the spirit of self-knowledge and make them literate and knowledgeable.

According to the general plan, high-rise residential buildings and shopping and service centers with a modern design have been erected on Mahmadali Kurbonov Street in the Ismoili Somoni district, and the construction of a modern kindergarten here will lay the foundation for the education and upbringing of the younger generation.

By the instructions of the Leader of the Nation, Honorable Emomali Rahmon, the number of preschool educational institutions in Dushanbe will be increased in order to improve the level of knowledge of children and educate them in the spirit of self-knowledge.

In this context, a decision was signed by the Mayor of Dushanbe, Honorable Rustam Emomali, to build 70 preschool educational institutions, within the framework of which 10 new kindergartens will be built and put into operation in the capital by the end of this year.
