DUSHANBE, 03.06.2025 (NIAT Khovar) – On June 3, the President of the Republic of Tajikistan, Leader of the Nation, Honorable Emomali Rahmon, and the Chairman of the Majlisi milli Majlisi Oli of the Republic of Tajikistan, Mayor of the city of Dushanbe Rustami Emomali got acquainted with the construction work at the National Teahouse on Hofizi Sherozi Avenue in the Sino district of the capital.

It was reported that the construction of the facility at this location began in 2024 and will be completed according to the plan in September 2026.

To date, 80 percent of the work has been completed, including the construction of the main building and the laying of steel structures in the upper part of the facility.

Here, the Head of State Emomali Rahmon first visited the main hall of the building, which, according to the project, will be decorated with national patterns and elements.

According to information, the teahouse is three-story, consists of open and spacious halls with plasterwork, carvings, a modern open-topped veranda and 5 other halls for receiving special guests.

Plastering work has now begun in the first hall with the involvement of skilled and experienced domestic craftsmen and should be completed using high-quality construction materials.

In the rest of the facility, about 300 workers, most of whom are local residents, are engaged in various construction works.

After the facility is put into operation, more than 150 local residents will be employed in the teahouse.

In general, according to the design, the exterior, roof, walls and halls of the new cultural and service facility have been built with high architectural art and national patterns and designs, and in the future, suitable conditions will be created here to receive 5,000 customers per day.
