DUSHANBE, 25.06.2025 (NIAT Khovar) – On June 25, the President of the Republic of Tajikistan, Leader of the Nation, Honorable Emomali Rahmon, continuing his working trip to the cities and districts of the Badakhshan Mountainous Autonomous Province, in the “Marmar Stone” Closed Joint-Stock Company, virtually opened 7 preschool educational institutions built in the villages of Motravn, Budun, Vishkharv, Zhamag, Bunay, Tekharv and Gujovast of the Vanj district.

The newly built preschool educational institutions consist of 20 classrooms and are designed for 380 students. 34 people are provided with permanent jobs in them.

Construction work on these institutions took place in February-June 2025.

According to information, 4 preschool educational institutions were built at the expense of the local budget of the region and 3 other institutions at the expense of villagers through collective work.

The commissioning of this facility will put an end to the problems of children’s access to the first stage of education in these remote villages.

Preschool educational institutions were built on the basis of the implementation of the instructions of the President of the Republic of Tajikistan, Emomali Rahmon, which were expressed during the Address to the Majlisi Oli to the heads of regions, cities and districts regarding the construction and reconstruction of preschool institutions.

This measure is also, on the one hand, the implementation of the items of the plan of celebratory events to mark the 35th anniversary of state independence.

17 educational groups operate in the newly established preschool institutions, and classes are held in two languages — Tajik and Russian.

The Leader of the Nation, Emomali Rahmon, expressed satisfaction with the establishment of preschool educational institutions in remote villages, especially in mountainous areas, and considered their commissioning a valuable gift to children.

It is worth noting that currently 2,867 preschool children are registered in Vanj district, and with the construction of 7 preschool institutions, the coverage of children in preschool institutions will reach 38%. This shows that the Government of the Republic of Tajikistan is constantly working to improve the level and quality of preschool education and provide infrastructure at this level of education, and the results are also bearing fruit in this process.

It should be noted that the upbringing and inclusion of the younger generation in quality education is considered one of the important goals of the state, and efforts are aimed at ensuring that children are raised in decent conditions and make a significant contribution to the development of their homeland in the future.
