Tajikistan Engages in 59th Session of UN Human Rights Council in Geneva

DUSHANBE, 18.06.2025 (NIAT Khovar) – On June 16, Sharaf Sheralizoda, Ambassador of Tajikistan to the Swiss Confederation and Permanent Representative of Tajikistan to the United Nations Office and other international organizations in Geneva, participated in the high-level segment of the 59th session of the United Nations Human Rights Council.
Вuring the session, over 60 reports prepared by the Office of the UN High Commissioner for Human Rights, human rights experts, and other investigative bodies were reviewed, addressing human rights situations in more than 40 countries worldwide.
The Council will conduct a total of 32 interactive dialogues.
The session runs from 16 June to 9 July in Geneva.
