Financial Institutions of Tajikistan and Qatar to Intensify Cooperation

DUSHANBE, 15.07.2025 (NIAT Khovar) – A meeting between Ambassador of Tajikistan to the State of Qatar Nurmurod Mahmadali and Chairman of the National Bank of Qatar Abdullah Mubarak Al-Khalifa took place on July 14.
According to the Ministry of Foreign Affairs of Tajikistan, the parties discussed a wide range of issues concerning bilateral cooperation in finance and banking.
They emphasized the need to expand economic ties and attract direct investments into priority sectors of Tajikistan’s economy.
Both sides also expressed readiness to deepen collaboration between financial institutions of Tajikistan and Qatar, support joint projects, and highlighted the importance of mutual visits.
