DUSHANBE, 13.07.2025 (NIAT Khovar) – On July 13, the President of the Republic of Tajikistan, Leader of the Nation, Honorable Emomali Rahmon, commissioned the DoroArtFood LLC Fruit and Vegetable Processing Factory in Khujand.

The modern industrial enterprise consists of two technological lines, with a capacity to process up to 600 tons of fruits and vegetables per month, reaching 7,200 tons per year.

In total, it processes 28 types of fruits and vegetables, including apples, pears, black plums, lemons, peaches, onions, carrots, pumpkins, peppers, cabbage and various types of greens, and produces export food products from them in accordance with international standards.

The monthly salary of the enterprise’s employees is more than 4,300 somoni.

The Head of State, Emomali Rahmon, assessed the construction of a new industrial enterprise and the processing of local raw materials to the highest level as an example of the implementation of the strategic goals of the Government of the country in ensuring food security and rapid industrialization.

Fruits and vegetables are collected from cities and districts of the country and processed at this enterprise, from which 50 types of export products are prepared.

Most importantly, the new enterprise can process the harvest of up to 1,000 hectares of land and produce various food products from it. On the other hand, processing will prevent the loss of agricultural products in the summer and autumn seasons.

In the first phase, up to 80 local residents are provided with jobs, and after the start of the second phase of the enterprise, this number will be increased to 300 workers.

According to the plan, the second phase of the enterprise will include the construction of a cold storage facility, a fruit and vegetable packing workshop, and a modern laboratory for studying the composition of soil and fruit trees.

After the establishment of the laboratory, farms cooperating with the enterprise will study the composition of the soil as part of strengthening the connection between science and production, and useful recommendations and advice will be given to increase soil fertility.

The enterprise’s technology has been imported from Italy and China and will be able to produce food products in accordance with the requirements of world markets.

The Leader of the Nation, Emomali Rahmon, drew the attention of workers to the appropriate use of the privileges offered by the Government of the country, attracting investment, prioritizing the use of modern technology, processing raw materials to the final level, and developing the national industry.
