President Emomali Rahmon Visits “TOJ AGRO” Farm in Mir Sayyid Ali Hamadoni District

DUSHANBE, 20.07.2025 (NIAT Khovar) – On July 20, the President of the Republic of Tajikistan, Leader of the Nation, Honorable Emomali Rahmon, and the Chairman of the Majlisi milli Majlisi Oli of the Republic of Tajikistan, Mayor of Dushanbe Rustam Emomali visited Panjob rural community of Mir Sayyid Ali Hamadoni district and got acquainted with the targeted use of land at the “TOJ AGRO” Limited Liability Company.

The purpose of the visit to the farm was to get acquainted with the progress of implementing the instructions and assignments of the Leader of the Nation regarding the development of the horticulture and viticulture sector, ensuring food security, creating jobs, and increasing exports of products abroad.

It was reported that in order to implement the instructions of the President of the Republic of Tajikistan Emomali Rahmon to ensure food security, “TOJ AGRO” LLC has established intensive cultivation of export-oriented orchards and vineyards on the farm lands.

The domestic company «TOJ AGRO» has 75 hectares of irrigated arable land, of which 72 hectares are intensive orchards and vineyards.

150 permanent employees and more than 450 seasonal workers are employed at the «TOJ AGRO» LLC.

During the tour of the farm, the Leader of the Nation, Emomali Rahmon, was presented with the results of the work of orchardists and vine growers.

It was reported that in order to implement the instructions and recommendations of the Leader of the Nation, a trial cultivation of grapes of varieties meeting global export requirements, imported from European countries and China, has been established on an area of 50 hectares.

Continuing the tour of the farm, the President of the country, Emomali Rahmon, visited an exhibition of agricultural products.

At the exhibition, farm owners presented a wide range of agricultural products, including potatoes, onions, carrots, grains, and fruits and vegetables.
