DUSHANBE, 29.07.2025 (NIAT Khovar) – Today, in the city of Cholpon-Ata of the Kyrgyz Republic, a working meeting was held between the President of the Republic of Tajikistan, Leader of the Nation, His Excellency Emomali Rahmon and the President of the Kyrgyz Republic, His Excellency Sadyr Japarov.
During the conversation, the parties comprehensively discussed the current state and prospects of friendly, good-neighborly and cooperative relations between Tajikistan and Kyrgyzstan.
The fruitful results of the recent state visits of the President of the Republic of Tajikistan to the Republic of Kyrgyzstan and the President of the Kyrgyz Republic to the Republic of Tajikistan were discussed.
In this context, the Heads of State emphasized the importance of further developing trade and economic cooperation and other aspects of bilateral relations, and paid special attention to the issues of advancing the process of demarcation of the State Border between the Republic of Tajikistan and the Kyrgyz Republic.
They also exchanged views on topical regional and international issues.
