DUSHANBE, 19.08.2025 (NIAT Khovar) – On August 19, the President of the Republic of Tajikistan, Leader of the Nation, Honorable Emomali Rahmon, together with the Chairman of the Majlisi milli Majlisi Oli of the Republic of Tajikistan, Mayor of Dushanbe, Honorable Rustam Emomali, inaugurated a new building of the Separate Special Purpose Police Unit “Shohin” of the Department of the Ministry of Internal Affairs in Dushanbe.

The Head of State, Emomali Rahmon, got acquainted with the created conditions and talked with the personnel of this unit.

The newly built facility consists of one main building and three 3-story auxiliary buildings, built taking into account modern architectural standards and special requirements of the industry.

In addition to office rooms, halls and meeting rooms, the newly built buildings of the Separate Special Purpose Police Unit “Shohin” of the Department of the Ministry of Internal Affairs in Dushanbe have classrooms and special training grounds, which are equipped with the necessary sectoral equipment. In particular, various types of field equipment, weapons, communication equipment, military uniforms and other work equipment are located here. In order to provide decent conditions for the personnel of this team, a modern dormitory has been built in this facility.

Two modern canteens with the most modern facilities have also been built here, one of which will serve in the open air during the summer.

The building also has a playground and a modern sports field, where, in addition to holding sports competitions, there is also the opportunity for the personnel of the team to engage in daily training.

In the courtyard of the newly built facility, the Leader of the Nation, Emomali Rahmon, visited an exhibition of military equipment and machinery. The exhibition showcased the most modern field equipment and supplies that are in use today. It was reported that the technical fleet of this team consists of modern military vehicles and mechanisms, all of which are in constant good condition.

During a conversation with the personnel of this team, the Head of State Emomali Rahmon emphasized that they should never lose their professional and political vigilance and constantly improve their knowledge and skills, and always be ready to deal with emergency and unforeseen situations.

It was emphasized that all the latest living conditions, daily activities and high-quality training of personnel for carrying out special military operations should encourage each of them to serve faithfully and conscientiously and undergo the necessary training. Recalling the extremely complex and unpredictable situation that is observed in the region and the world, the leadership of the power and law enforcement structures and every military serviceman and special-purpose units were required to always be ready to protect the achievements of the independent Motherland and the lasting security and stability of our beloved Tajikistan.

Here, the Head of State, Emomali Rahmon, presented the «Shohin» Special Purpose Police Unit of the Department of the Ministry of Internal Affairs in Dushanbe with new work vehicles, which will provide practical assistance to the effective work of the employees of this institution.
