President Emomali Rahmon participated in ceremony to commission the City Clinical Hospital for Poisoning and Burn Injuries in Dushanbe

DUSHANBE, 21.08.2025 (NIAT Khovar) – On August 21, the President of the Republic of Tajikistan, Leader of the Nation, Honorable Emomali Rahmon, and the Chairman of the Majlisi milli Majlisi Oli of the Republic of Tajikistan, Honorable Rustam Emomali, inaugurated a new building of the City Clinical Hospital for Poisoning and Burn Injuries in the Firdavsi district of the capital.

The main building of the City Clinical Hospital for Poisoning and Burn Injuries in Dushanbe consists of seven floors and a basement and has 167 rooms, including 105 rooms for hospitalization of patients with 230 beds, reception and diagnostic departments, surgery, burn injuries, poisoning diseases, fractures, neurology and other auxiliary rooms.

Construction work on this facility began in 2022 and was completed within the specified time frame using high-quality materials in accordance with the requirements of the industry and elements of national architecture.

During the inspection of the created conditions, the President of the country, Emomali Rahmon, highly appreciated the quality of the work done and considered the opening of such a facility to be a worthy welcome to the glorious celebration of the 35th anniversary of the state independence.

It was emphasized that the launch of a new medical institution, which was built with the funding of the Executive Body of State Power of Dushanbe, is a holiday gift from the Government of the country to the healthcare workers of the capital.

This medical institution has 107 items of modern equipment and devices, including special beds for burn diseases, a mobile device for washing patients, a mobile barocamera, a laser device for treating burn injuries, a laser device for therapeutic and cosmetic lifting, an ultrasound device for treating and rehabilitating burn diseases, video endoscopy equipment for the intestines and stomach, a video endoscope, and a mobile video bronchoscope. These are new generation equipment imported to Tajikistan for the first time.

At the same time, digital X-rays, ultrasound diagnostic equipment, electrocardiograms, and unique diagnostic and treatment equipment from developed countries have been brought in to provide high-quality medical services to the population.

The hospital employs 62 qualified doctors and young specialists with extensive experience in diagnosis, treatment, and various surgeries.

On other floors of the hospital, departments with treatment beds and other necessary services for the effective work of doctors and the use of patients have been equipped.

With the expansion of opportunities in the new building of the City Clinical Hospital for Poisoning and Burn Injuries in Dushanbe, the Department of General Surgery No. 2 of the Tajik State Medical University named after Abuali ibn Sino and the Department of Neurology, Traumatology, and Orthopedics of the Institute of Postgraduate Education of Healthcare Workers of the Republic of Tajikistan have been located here.

A corner of medicinal herbs has also been organized in the hospital, where drinks are prepared using these natural gifts of Tajikistan.

The hospital also has a conference room with 60 seats and a canteen with 108 seats.

A parking lot has also been built on the territory of the hospital.

The building was built with a beautiful architectural design, and the courtyard and its surroundings are well-kept and greened, and the installation of decorative lights has added a new beauty to the image of the beautiful city of Dushanbe.

The doctors expressed their gratitude to the Head of State, Emomali Rahmon, for his constant care for healthcare workers.

With the creation of such modern conditions and a high level of medical services, citizens will be able to conduct all types of diagnostics and treatment of diseases within the country, which will provide a reliable basis for protecting the health of the population.
