DUSHANBE, 28.08.2025 (NIAT Khovar) – On August 28, the President of the Republic of Tajikistan, Leader of the Nation, Honorable Emomali Rahmon, received the Deputy Prime Minister, Minister of Foreign Affairs of the Republic of Kazakhstan, Honorable Murat Nurtleu.
During the meeting, issues of a political, economic, trade, cultural and humanitarian nature were discussed, as well as cooperation between the two countries in these areas in the spirit of strategic partnership and alliance. At the same time, special attention was paid to the expansion of interparliamentary dialogue, emphasizing that its consistent promotion will have a positive impact on the overall relations between the two countries. The schedule of upcoming meetings and contacts at the highest level and the progress of preparations for the CIS Summit and the meeting in the format of “Central Asia — Russian Federation” in Dushanbe were also discussed.
At the end of the meeting, a signing ceremony of the Treaty of Friendship, Good Neighborliness and Cooperation for the Development of Central Asia in the Twenty-First Century took place. This document was signed by the President of the Republic of Tajikistan, Leader of the Nation, Honorable Emomali Rahmon.
It was emphasized that joint work on the comprehensive implementation of this document will be a factor in ensuring and strengthening peace, stability, and sustainable development in the region.
