Tajik — Russian Presidents discussed current issues on the bilateral and international agenda by phone

DUSHANBE, 10.08.2025 (NIAT Khovar) – On August 10, a telephone conversation was held between the President of the Republic of Tajikistan, Leader of the Nation, Honorable Emomali Rahmon, and the President of the Russian Federation, Honorable Vladimir Putin.
During the conversation, topical issues of bilateral cooperation and the international agenda were discussed.
The Russian President reported on the main results of the negotiations with the US side. Expressing gratitude for the information provided, the Leader of the Nation supported efforts to find political and diplomatic ways to resolve the Ukrainian issue.
At the same time, the readiness of the parties to take joint measures to develop strategic partnership relations between Tajikistan and Russia was emphasized.
The heads of state discussed the plan for upcoming high-level meetings, both bilaterally and multilaterally.
