DUSHANBE, 02.09.2025 (NIAT Khovar) – On September 3, the President of the Republic of Tajikistan, Leader of the Nation, Honorable Emomali Rahmon, together with the President of the People’s Republic of China, Honorable Xi Jinping, and other heads of state, participated in the ceremonial event dedicated to the 80th anniversary of the victory of the Chinese people over Japanese militarism and the end of the Second World War on Tiananmen Square in Beijing.
Our Head of State Emomali Rahmon and the heads of other states were warmly welcomed by the President of the People’s Republic of China Xi Jinping.
Before participating in the grand military parade, a commemorative photo session of the heads of state was held.
The ceremonial gathering was attended by heads of state and governments of 26 countries.
A group of war heroes and veterans also held a place of honor at the venue of the event.
The grand military parade, which was prepared in a unique and unprecedented manner, featured units of China’s strategic land, naval, and air forces, as well as a large number of modern military equipment from various units of the country’s army.
