President Emomali Rahmon inaugurates new tank range and frontier posts on Tajik-Afghan border

On December 24, the President of the Republic of Tajikistan, Leader of the Nation, Honorable Emomali Rahmon, together with the Chairman of the Majlisi milli Majlisi Oli of the Republic of Tajikistan, Mayor of Dushanbe, Honorable Rustami Emomali, visited the Ministry of Defense of the country and remotely put into operation the tank-training area of the Harbmaydon training ground and 4 border outposts on the Tajik-Afghan border.
First, with the participation of the President of the Republic of Tajikistan, Leader of the Nation, Honorable Emomali Rahmon, the Chairman of the Majlisi milli Majlisi Oli of the Republic of Tajikistan, Mayor of Dushanbe, Honorable Rustami Emomali, and the heads of the country’s security structures, the tank-training area at the Harbmaydon training ground was remotely launched.
In order to train specialists in this field at a high professional level, many training facilities have been built at this training ground.
The building of the command and observation post with driving classrooms and observation towers is one of the other facilities of this training ground.
While familiarizing himself with the vast capabilities of this training ground, the President of the Republic of Tajikistan, Emomali Rahmon, instructed the leadership of the Ministry of Defense and other power structures to use the capabilities of this area to train their relevant technical specialists at a high level.
From here, as well as remotely, with the participation of the President of the Republic of Tajikistan, Leader of the Nation, Emomali Rahmon, Chairman of the Majlisi milli Majlisi Oli of the Republic of Tajikistan, Mayor of Dushanbe, Honorable Rustami Emomali, 4 border outposts were opened on the Tajik-Afghan border.
These border outposts were built for the first time in this mountainous and difficult-to-navigate area of the state border with Afghanistan, which was not previously adequately protected, and for their unhindered operation in this area, a new motorable road was built for a distance of more than 70 kilometers, and other supporting infrastructure was also created.
As a result of the constant attention and support of the Leader of the Nation, Emomali Rahmon, during his 31 years of activity, the Border Troops have become more powerful and sophisticated, and the service and living conditions of officers and soldiers are improving day by day.
This process has accelerated, especially over the last 2-3 years, and in this short period of time, 80 new border posts have already been built and provided with machinery and equipment, and all military, service, and household supplies.
In all these border outposts, in addition to providing the necessary service conditions, including military dormitories, canteens, bathrooms, heating networks, training grounds, separate residential houses have also been built for officers and their families.
During the opening of the border facility, the President of the Republic of Tajikistan, Supreme Commander-in-Chief of the Armed Forces of the Republic of Tajikistan, Honorable Emomali Rahmon, emphasized that the Government of the country is constantly taking measures to create conditions for living and serving in the Armed Forces, including the Border Troops.
The Leader of the Nation, Honorable Emomali Rahmon, also recalled the contribution of the country’s patriotic entrepreneurs, who also participate in this proud work, and expressed gratitude and appreciation to all those who contributed to the development of the country.
