President Emomali Rahmon makes personnel appointments

On January 16, the President of the Republic of Tajikistan, Leader of the Nation, Honorable Emomali Rahmon, made a number of personnel changes in the structures of the Ministry of Defense, the National Guard, the Border Troops, the Agency for State Financial Control and Combating Corruption, and the Main Directorate for the Execution of Criminal Punishments of the Ministry of Justice.
Young, talented, highly qualified, courageous and patriotic personnel were appointed to the positions of First Deputy Head of the State Institution «Defense Assistant» of the Ministry of Defense and to leadership positions in the central apparatus of the Ministry of Defense and the General Staff of the Armed Forces of the country, the Border Troops, the National Guard, the Agency for State Financial Control and Combating Corruption, and the Main Directorate for the Execution of Criminal Punishments of the Ministry of Justice, and the command staff of the military units and subdivisions of these power structures.
Also, experienced personnel in this field were appointed to the positions of military commissars of the cities and districts of Mir Sayid Ali Hamadoni, Danghara, Vakhsh, Abdurrahmoni Jomi, Yovon, and Shahriston.
During his speech and conversation, the Head of State Emomali Rahmon analyzed and discussed the state of readiness of the Armed Forces, military units, and other structures mentioned above in relation to the situation in the region and the world, and set specific tasks for each of these military institutions and for the maintenance and safeguarding of peace and tranquility.
Great attention was paid to strengthening the protection of the state border and preventing any border violations, especially armed border violations and arms and drug trafficking, strengthening the constant readiness of the Armed Forces, language learning, mastering and using modern combat equipment and devices, conducting continuous exercises and drills to use the capabilities of remotely controlled equipment, and observing the law and sectoral regulations.
It was emphasized that the relationship with soldiers and employees should be like that between family members, so that the feeling of friendship, brotherhood, and mutual understanding between military personnel and leaders of military units be strengthened.
Other instructions and recommendations were given on the quality implementation of responsibilities in each of the mentioned structures.
