DUSHANBE, 13.02.2026 (NIAT Khovar) – Starlink satellite Internet officially began operating in Tajikistan on Feb. 5, the Communications Service under the government said.
The agency said all licensing, technical, and state registration procedures for satellite Internet equipment have been completed, allowing citizens and organizations to use the service legally.
Equipment purchase and delivery, as well as information about terms, conditions, and tariffs, are handled through the company’s website, Starlink.com. Prices are set by Starlink.
Users can register and activate their equipment themselves. Registration requires personal information, including a passport copy, taxpayer identification number, phone number, and payment card with sufficient funds.
The Communications Service urged users who previously activated equipment without authorization to complete registration to comply with national legislation, warning that unauthorized equipment could face restrictions or service termination.
Starlink will provide information about registered users and equipment to the authorized government body as required by law. The Communications Service will monitor use of the service to ensure regulatory compliance.
