Tajik Ambassador, Georgian Speaker Discuss Expanding Interparliamentary Cooperation

Ilhom Abdurakhmanov, ambassador extraordinary and plenipotentiary of the Republic of Tajikistan to Georgia, met with Shalva Papuashvili, speaker of the Georgian Parliament, to discuss expanding bilateral cooperation.
According to the Tajik Foreign Ministry, the sides focused on developing interparliamentary ties, enhancing the role of legislatures in strengthening interstate relations, and expanding trade, economic, cultural and humanitarian cooperation.
They reaffirmed their commitment to intensifying interaction between the interparliamentary friendship groups of the two countries and advancing coordinated initiatives aimed at further strengthening bilateral parliamentary relations.
