Tajikistan, Bashkortostan Officials Discuss Expanding Interregional Cooperation

On Feb. 24, Davlatshoh Gulmahmadzoda, ambassador of the Republic of Tajikistan to Russia, met with Radiy Khabirov, head of the Republic of Bashkortostan, Khovar reports citing the Tajik Embassy in Russia.
The officials discussed the current state and prospects for expanding cooperation between regions of Tajikistan and Bashkortostan in economics, trade, agriculture, healthcare, education, culture, and tourism.
Gulmahmadzoda also introduced Faridun Faizullozoda as Tajikistan’s new consul general in Ufa. The meeting focused on expanding investment cooperation at the interregional level.
