Tajikistan, EU Hold Talks on Digital Economy Cooperation

The director of the Agency for Innovation and Digital Technologies under the President of Tajikistan, Khurshed Faizullozoda, met with Radoslaw Darski, the European Union’s ambassador and head of delegation to Tajikistan.
According to the agency, the discussion focused on developing bilateral cooperation in the digital economy, implementing modern technologies and expanding digital infrastructure.
The talks also covered projects being implemented in Tajikistan with EU support. Officials highlighted ongoing initiatives such as C4CA and the CIVIT Registry, noting their contribution to strengthening digital infrastructure and state information systems, as well as improving public administration.
The sides also discussed preparing a cooperation document with the e-Governance Academy, emphasizing that its signing would help bring advanced European expertise in e-government to Tajikistan.
