President Emomali Rahmon Reviews Shahriston Eco-Resort Investment Project

On July 7, the President of the Republic of Tajikistan, Leader of the Nation, Honorable Emomali Rahmon, also got acquainted with the investment project for the construction of the Shahriston tourist complex — eco-resort in the Shahriston district.
This tourist facility consists of four construction stages and will be built by the 40th anniversary of state independence in the Khurramdara area of the Shahriston district.
The total area of this tourist complex is 15 hectares, and a road will be built on it for more than 5 kilometers.
As part of the project, a beautiful hotel will be built in this area to accommodate 1,000 domestic and foreign tourists at a time, and 100 people will have permanent jobs.
The Leader of the Nation, Emomali Rahmon, considered the opening of multi-purpose facilities in the villages of the Shahriston district as an important measure in the direction of rural development, and urged the leadership and residents of the district to make a greater contribution to the development of the Motherland.
He also gave instructions and recommendations to officials regarding the sustainable development of tourism in mountainous conditions, the creation of new types of resorts for tourists that meet modern requirements, and the attraction of as many domestic and foreign tourists as possible to Tajikistan.
