Tajik Foreign Minister Meets with Azerbaijan’s Ambassador at End of Diplomatic Mission

DUSHANBE, 11.07.2026 (NIAT Khovar) – Tajikistan’s Minister of Foreign Affairs Sirojiddin Muhriddin on July 9 received Ambassador 1of Azerbaijan to Tajikistan Alimirzamin Askerov, who is completing his diplomatic tenure in the country.
The meeting focused on the current state and prospects of Tajikistan–Azerbaijan relations, with both sides noting the positive dynamics of bilateral cooperation.
Sirojiddin Muhriddin expressed appreciation to the Ambassador for his contribution to strengthening friendly ties and mutually beneficial cooperation between the two countries.
The Minister wished Alimirzamin Askerov success in his future diplomatic activities.
