DUSHANBE, July 21, 2026 (NIAT Khovar) – On July 20, Ambassador of Tajikistan to the State of Kuwait Khusrav Noziri met with Kuwait’s Deputy Foreign Minister for Asian Affairs Nawaf Abdul Latif Al-Ahmad, NIAT Khovar reports.

During the meeting, the sides discussed a wide range of issues related to Tajikistan–Kuwait cooperation in priority areas and emphasized the importance of implementing the agreements reached during the official visit of the President of the Republic of Tajikistan, Leader of the Nation, Honorable Emomali Rahmon to the State of Kuwait on November 3–5, 2024.

The parties also expressed hope that the fifth meeting of the Tajikistan–Kuwait Intergovernmental Commission on Economic, Trade, Scientific and Technical Cooperation, as well as the fourth round of political consultations between the foreign ministries of the two countries, will be held in the near future.

In this context, the contribution of the Kuwait Fund for Arab Economic Development to the implementation of important infrastructure projects and the development of Tajikistan was highly appreciated.

The interlocutors also exchanged views on ways to strengthen cooperation in the fields of culture, education and tourism.
