On Sept. 6, an official delegation of the People’s Democratic Party of Tajikistan, led by First Deputy Chairman Maliksho Nematzoda, participated in the Central Asian Symposium on “Xi Jinping Thought on Socialism with Chinese Characteristics in the New Era and the World” in Uzbekistan, held as part of a meeting of political parties from Central Asian countries and China.

The symposium focused on China’s experience in party governance, socioeconomic development and the strengthening of political stability, as well as the exchange of experience among political parties from Central Asia and China.

Speakers highlighted China’s approach to party governance as the result of a long process of political development, research and practical experience, emphasizing its role in shaping national development priorities and supporting the implementation of strategic state objectives.

Participants also discussed China’s experience in economic development, public administration, maintaining political stability and improving living standards, noting the international interest in the country’s development model and its approaches to addressing contemporary socioeconomic challenges.

Representatives of the host country emphasized that China’s experience offers distinctive approaches to promoting economic development, strengthening stability and improving the effectiveness of public administration in the current international environment.

The symposium also addressed prospects for expanding inter-party cooperation, sharing political and organizational experience, and strengthening friendship and mutually beneficial cooperation among political parties in Central Asia and China.

The participation of the People’s Democratic Party of Tajikistan delegation in the symposium contributed to strengthening inter-party dialogue, facilitating the exchange of political experience and expanding cooperation among political parties in the region.
