Abdullah Al-Matuq Al-Matuq: “Bilateral cooperation between Tajikistan and the State of Kuwait is mutually beneficial”
Dushanbe, 27.10.2016 /NIAT “Khovar”/. “Bilateral cooperation between Tajikistan and the State of Kuwait is mutually beneficial. First of all, it is based on bilateral documents and agreements. We hope that this cooperation will develop in the future”, — said Dr. Abdullah Al- Matuq Al-Matuq, Advisor at the Al-Diwan Al-Amiri of the State of Kuwait and Chairman of the International Islamic Charitable Organization and Representative of the Secretary-General of the UN for Humanitarian Affairs on October 26 after a meeting with the Founder of Peace and National Unity — Leader of the Nation, the President of the Republic of Tajikistan H.E. Mr. Emomali Rahmon.
He has noted that: “Future bilateral cooperation will cover the areas of investment, health, education and humanitarian aid, so that we can provide humanitarian aid to the Tajik people”.
Recall that the State of Kuwait is the first Arab country that recognized the State Independence of the Republic of Tajikistan. On March 31, 1995 between the Republic of Tajikistan and the State of Kuwait were established diplomatic relations. The early history of close ties between Tajikistan and the State of Kuwait originated from the first visit of the President of the Republic of Tajikistan to the State of Kuwait, on April 17-19, 1995.
