Tajikistan’s delegation met with Parliamentary Vice-Minister of Economy, Trade and Industry of Japan
DUSHANBE, 18.04.2017 /NIAT “Khovar”/. On April 14 on the sidelines of the First meeting of the Tajikistan-Japan Intergovernmental Commission on Economic, Technical and Scientific Cooperation the delegation of the Republic of Tajikistan met with the Parliamentary Vice-Minister of Economy, Trade and Industry of Japan Toshinao Nakagawa. The official delegation of the Republic of Tajikistan was headed by the Minister of Economic Development and Trade Nematullo Hikmatullozoda. NIAT “Khovar” has been reported by the Embassy of Tajikistan in Japan.
During the meeting the issues of bilateral character in the light of the results of meetings of leaders of the two countries, including cooperation in such areas as economy, trade, energy, investment, as well as implementation of joint projects in energy and mining sectors were discussed.
The parties agreed that there is a huge untapped potential between the two countries, which needs to be fully used for the development of relations in the above mentioned areas. In this context, it was emphasized that holding of the First meeting of Tajikistan-Japan Intergovernmental Commission will strengthen the existing platform of economic cooperation and give new impetus to its further development.
The parties have stated that the trade-economic structure of both countries should make a feasible contribution to the development of mutually beneficial cooperation. The interlocutors confirmed their readiness to support the international initiatives of the two countries at the level of relevant ministries.
