Tajikistan and Belarus discussed prospects for the development of bilateral cooperation in the field of trade and production
DUSHANBE, 15.01.2018 /NIAT “Khovar”/. Ambassador Extraordinary and Plenipotentiary of the Republic of Tajikistan to the Republic of Belarus Mahmadsharif Haqdod met on January 11 with the Minister of Agriculture and Food of the Republic of Belarus, co-chairman of the Tajik-Belarusian Intergovernmental Commission on Trade and Economic Cooperation Leonid Zayats.
According to the MFA Information Department, the meeting discussed prospects for the development of bilateral cooperation in the field of trade and production in accordance with the agreements reached by the heads of two states on the results of the working visit of the Founder of Peace and National Unity — Leader of the Nation, President of the Republic of Tajikistan, His Excellency Mr. Emomali Rahmon to the Republic of Belarus, on December 1, 2017.
The parties also discussed the issues of preparation and holding of the 12th meeting of the Tajik-Belarusian Intergovernmental Commission on Trade and Economic Cooperation in the first quarter of 2018 in Dushanbe city, as well as the organization of an exhibition of products of Belarusian companies and enterprises in the Republic of Tajikistan.
