Folk crafts exhibition took place in Khorug city of Badakhshan province
DUSHANBE, 31.01.2018 /NIAT “Khovar”/. The exhibition of folk crafts of the craftsmen of districts and cities of Gorno-Badakhshan Autonomous Region dedicated to the Year of Tourism and Folk Crafts Development was held in Khorug city. NIAT “Khovar” has been reported by the official of the Executive body of state authority of given province Nilufar Aslamshoeva.
According to the source, the Chairman of GBAO Shodikhon Jamshed in the course of familiarization with exhibition stressed that the announcement of the Year of Tourism and Folk Crafts Development once again demonstrates the attention of the Leader of the Nation His Excellency Emomali Rahmon to the formation of national crafts and thereby contributing to the improvement of the people’s economic life.
It was noted that the holding of such exhibitions will allow the craftsmen to show and present their own hand products to everyone. “In this context, the craftsmen can find buyers for their products”, — said the Chairman of the province.
The attendees of exhibition said that in response to supports and cares of the Leader of the Nation His Excellency Emomali Rahmon and in order to develop folk crafts they will direct all their efforts to present folk crafts of mountain Tajiks at the world level by producing high-quality products.
